MD Blogger: Life’s Journey: Woman to Woman

Blogger: Life’s Journey: W2W

Blog: Life’s Journey: Woman to Woman

Life’s Journey: W2W’s blog is on webs.com.

DC Social Media Examiner (DCSME): What is your blog about?

Life’s Journey: W2W (LJW2W): These blogs address issues that every woman faces along their Journey of Life. Abuse, sex, relationships, health, money, spirituality, and God are all pertinent issues that women encounter during life and we provide advice to every woman that stops by to read or listen to what is provided. LJW2W’s blogs take you on the journey of your life and inspire you to become the BEST Woman that you can be. Not only do we have poetry, blogs, and written tidbits, but, we have a BlogTalk RadioShow as well.

DCSME: How did you pick the topic for Life’s Journey: Woman to Woman?

LJW2W: I picked the Topic for my blog because I AM WOMAN. I understand that we struggle with so many issues in life. Sometimes our life doesn’t go the way we want. When I recognized this concept, I decided that I wanted other women, especially young women, to know that they were not alone in this Journey. As the founder, I am also a interested in Women’s Issues and Women’s Health. Currently, I am in Graduate School studying how to play a vital role in the Life’s of Women by providing them with Advanced Nursing Care as a mid-level primary care provider. Inspiring others is dear to my heart and my God-given PURPOSE!

DCSME: How is Life’s Journey: Woman to Woman different from other blogs that cover the same or similar information?

LJW2W: My Blog differs from many other because we are NOT trying to be like someone else. One thing I admire about our blog site is the easy access to the content.

Most times when I click on a blog there is so much information that I don’t know where to start. The sites are not easy to scroll through. LJW2W’s blog is easy to scroll through and find the information you WANT.

If you’re looking for health tips, all you have to do is click the health tips link. If you want to learn about marriage you just click on the blog about marriage. It’s simpler access to the information that you need.

DCSME: What do you like most about blogging?

LJW2W: I love being able to be transparent before my audience and allow them to learn from what I am learning. I like the fact that it is designed in such a way as to have my followers journey this life with me. I also love the fact that anyone can join and be included in the site’s activities. My members get an inspirational nugget each week delivered to their in-boxes.

One last thing is that my BLOG has FACEBOOK CONNECT! This was the anyone can connect via FB, share, like, and comment. That’s an awesome thing.

DCSME: How often do you update Life’s Journey: Woman to Woman?

LJW2W: Our FB Fanpage is updated daily. Our blog site is updated just about bi-weekly/monthly. We don’t want to overload our members but, we want to consistently inspire them.

DCSME: What else would you like to share with readers of your profile?

LJW2W: It’s a beautiful site. When your down, needing advice, prayer, or more, it is one of those sites you are bound to become INSPIRED from.

DCSME: How did you pick the topic for iAManasha -the Queen of Forgiveness-?

AKS: I’ve been practicing forgiveness for almost two years, and it has become a major topic in my life. I find myself talking to friends and family about it all the time. Then I found myself talking about it on my Radio Show all the time. Now, I’m totally immersed in it. I created a blog!

DCSME: How is iAManasha -the Queen of Forgiveness- different from other blogs that cover the same or similar information?

AKS: Are there any other blogs that are totally in the niche of forgiveness. I swear, I would be there following already. Everyone touches on the subject, though. It is just my main topic. I guess that is what makes me different.

AKS: I love sharing the ideas that come into my head. I love writing. I love comments. I really love the community of it all. The Blogosphere (eyes looking up to my halo as I sign in relief)!

DCSME: How often do you update iAManasha -the Queen of Forgiveness-?

AKS: I have been updating this one every couple weeks. I’m looking forward to changing that to at least 3 times a week.

AKS: Forgiveness is a process. Though, you can forgive immediately. Before we realize that there is really nothing to forgive, we first forgive incessantly.

Blog: Creative Ramblings

Cendrine Marrouat’s blog is self-hosted on WordPress.

DC Social Media Examiner (DCSME): What is your blog about?

Cendrine Marrouat (CM): Creative Ramblings is about social media with a particular focus on independent artists and entrepreneurs, rather than big businesses.

DCSME: How did you pick the topic for Creative Ramblings?

CM: When I started my career as an independent artist, I quickly realized that the road to good exposure is paved with challenges. As I had no one to guide me in the right direction, I chose not to wait for success to find me.

I started doing a lot of research and actually enjoyed my finds. As I discovered Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and learnt to use other social networking sites, I realized that social media was becoming unavoidable.

When I had acquired sufficient knowledge on the topic, I started sharing through discussions with people. They advised me to start blogging, which I did. And now, I cannot live without it!

DCSME: How is Creative Ramblings different from other blogs that cover the same or similar information?

CM: My blog is unique in the sense that I offer a no-nonsense and honest approach based on my personal experience.

I like to create articles and tutorials that are easy for people to understand — something that I have enjoyed doing since my days as a teacher.

DCSME: What do you like most about blogging?

CM: I love the freedom that blogging brings. There is neither deadline no contract. I can write whenever I want and share my thoughts on any topic relevant to my niche.

Most people do not realize how important blogging is when it comes to building a solid reputation online.

DCSME: How often do you update Creative Ramblings?

CM: I try to do it four or five times a week. However, I also have three other blogs. Further, I hold six titles with Examiner.com, including Canada Social Media Examiner. So juggling with everything can be quite challenging…

DCSME: What else would you like to share with readers of your profile?

CM: Apart from blogging, I am also a freelance journalist/reviewer, published author and translator.

I am always interested in spotlighting independent artists and experts in the social media field, so contact me.

I give my opinions on cruise pricing trends.

This expertise has lead to me being in Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, USA Today, ABCnews.com, and many other articles from major publications.

DCSME: What do you like most about blogging?

RT: I love having an outlet to share my thoughts and to teach others. It’s been life changing!

RT: 4 times per week – everyday while cruising.

Blog: Graduate Into The Real World

ChaChanna Simpson’s blog is on WordPress.com.

DC Social Media Examiner (DCSME): What is your blog about?

ChaChanna Simpson (CS): My blog is dedicated to helping twentysomethings and their parents adjust to life after college.

Topics I cover are on money, health, relationships, movtivation/goals, and career.

DCSME: How did you pick the topic for Graduate Into The Real World?

CS: When I graduated college, I was unsure of what to do to enter the real world. I was proficient in what I went to study but I was clueless about life skills. So, as I was finding out how to adjust to life after college I set out to document what I was learning and share it with other recent grads who were just as unsure.

DCSME: How is Graduate Into The Real World different from other blogs that cover the same or similar information?

CS: My blog focuses on the details of life, such as getting an apartment, managing money, building healthy adult relationships. I regularly feature posts from experts in health, money, relationships and career. I also have a section for parents because their grad becoming an adult is a transition for them as well.

DCSME: What do you like most about blogging?

CS: I love that I am able to share what I have learned and have people add their comments. So, I guess I enjoy the community that a blog can develop.

DCSME: How often do you update Graduate Into The Real World?

CS: I update my blog five days a week, Monday thru Friday.

DCSME: What else would you like to share with readers of your profile?

CS: Yes, I will be venturing into video soon to add some new ways to connect with my visitors. I think bloggers should always try new ways to engage their readers. So, if you’ve been doing only videos, throw in a blog post every now and then. If you are solely blogging throw in video or audio post. It’s fun to add something new.
