DC Social Media Examiner (DCSME): What is your blog about?
Darian Murray (DDM): Legends Icons Role Models is simply showcasing those who are making positive inroads throughout the world. We also feature recipes, fashion, vintage videos and much more.
DCSME: How did you pick the topic for Legends Icons Role Models?
DDM: My childhood serves as my muse for the vintage posts, so I take from my memories. We never use gossip, negative words nor profain language. There are hundreds of people doing positive things and it’s my job to find them.
DCSME: How is Legends Icons Role Models different from other blogs that cover the same or similar information?
DDM: I can honestly say that our site is different in that it highlights those who are striving for excellence with their brand. We interview Doctors, Lawyers, Authors, Television personalities and more on a daily basis. Just because the crowd is going with the most popular doesn’t mean we do.
DCSME: What do you like most about blogging?
DDM: I truly get a joy out of hearing and seeing the responses of those we interview. My heart skips a beat when a person who never had a chance to get their name out there can do it from our site.
I also smile hard when we giveaway gifts. We recently gave away free movie tickets as well as books from upcoming writers and the person lives in the Bahamas – Such a Blessing!
DCSME: How often do you update Legends Icons Role Models?
DDM: I am on the site at least 7 hours of the day. I am up and out the door headed to work and even there, I have my laptop set up just in case I get an idea or an email.
DCSME: What else would you like to share with readers of your profile?
DDM: I will say, Give us a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
